President’s Message
A very warm welcome to Branch 32 of the Royal Canadian Legion at Bay Roberts, part of District #2 of the Newfoundland
and Labrador Command. We have been a full charter branch since May 1955 but our history extends past that as we were part of the GWVA
(Great War Veterans Association) prior to that.
We have a proud and rich history of service to all veterans, their families and the
community in general, that continues to grow and is strengthened through the efforts of the members of the branch. Branch 32 is a
vibrant branch, rich in tradition while embracing the future as we move forward. Our branch website is full of information about the
branch, its veterans, complete with biographies on many, other useful information and various fingertip links that would be of interest.
Our
website on the World Wide Web and on Facebook can be found at the links provided above.
It is our privilege to serve and honour our
veterans, both past and those currently serving. We are part of the community and actively involved in town activities. Membership
is open to anyone who wishes an opportunity to be part of an organization that is built to serve.
We are open 6 days a week Monday
– Saturday. There is always something happening at the branch located at 108 Water Street, Bay Roberts. Stop by and enjoy a genuine
welcome.
One unique feature is our marina. The Veterans Quay Marina is an integral and special part of our branch particularly designed
for those who enjoy the water. Our location and amenities for patrons and pleasure boaters are simply the Best in the Bay!
Drop by
for a visit. We would be happy to show you around.
Sincerely,
Comrade Harold Brown
